apropos capitalistic forms - the arrow is actually a statement against consumeristic desire - it says by pointing - that despite all of our choices - all of our visual schizophrenia - the arrow says  - LOOK AT THIS ONE THING - THIS IS IT - DOn’t LOOK ELSEWHERE - it is an anti-choice statement making the choice 4 you - it chooses for your eyes the visual primacy - it forces you to look and focus on ONE THING in THAT MOMENT - it is the most zen buddhist that we can get - the arrow brings us to nirvana by repetitive pointive practice - no interpretation is needed when you have an arrow ring - it implies direction, security, stableness, groundedness and placedness - it is the anti-thesis to post-modern fuckheads who say we are lost to a world of cosumeristic cannibalism.  The arrow pointing tell you that you have nothing except for this one thing to look at - CAN YOU DO IT?

but underlying all this - the arrow can also serve as the most egotistical, materialistic, narcisstic tool ever - it says look at MY things, look at things I FIND interesting - my my my - my things….look at ME - me posing, me waking, me thinking, me walking - but isn’t this what flickr, blogs, facebook is all about - is connecting all this ME ME ME to a WE WE WE community of people who value ME ME ME?

I don’t know - but I must say that this arrow is the fucking bomb. arrows down or up - this is the most transformative contemporary creation created by creators of creationdom.
